The role involves: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Overtime paid at a premium rate.
