Offshore rigger — Kosofe

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Kosofe, Lagos State. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. The role involves inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
