Finish carpenter — Smith County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Smith County, Texas. You will be based in a cabinet-making workshop. Your main tasks: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Own basic hand tools Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
