Join our team: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Sumter County, Florida. The job is at an auto components factory. Day to day you will run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; record output and downtime on the production sheet; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
