Offshore rigger — Lokoja

Join our team: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Lokoja, Kogi State. You will work on a high-rise building site. The role involves read lift plans and method statements before starting; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
