Plastering hand • Kaiama, Kwara State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plastering hand in Kaiama, Kwara State. You will work on a busy domestic building site. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish The role involves: • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
