Escalator technician — Orsu

Vacancy available: we are hiring an escalator technician in Orsu, Imo State. The job is on a high-rise construction site. The role involves install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
