Vacancy available: we are hiring a halal butcher in Champaign County, Ohio. You will work in a supermarket meat department. On a typical shift you will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience.
