Bakery assistant • Manatee County, Florida

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Manatee County, Florida. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks The role involves: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Score the top of loaves before baking • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards 2+ years on the tools preferred.
