Counter butcher — Upshur County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a counter butcher in Upshur County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Season and marinate meat on request • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
