Gardener — Esan Central

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gardener in Esan Central, Edo. You will work on the grounds of a hotel resort. The role involves: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting 3+ years on the tools preferred.
