Backhoe operator • Pueblo County, Colorado

Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Pueblo County, Colorado. The job is in an open-cast quarry. Day-to-day duties: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble Requirements: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
