Fusing press operator wanted in Obubra

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Obubra, Cross River State. The job is in a garment export house. What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings On the job you will handle: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
