Now hiring: we are hiring a groundsman in Lokoja, Kogi State. You will work in a botanical garden. What we are looking for: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors You will dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs.
