Immediate opening: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Skagit County, Washington. You will mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
