Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
