Requirements: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Day to day you will strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site.
