Mobile crane operator • Schoolcraft County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Schoolcraft County, Michigan. Day to day you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
