Now hiring: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Ideato South, Imo State. You will be based at a private estate garden. You should have: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Your main tasks: • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
