Milling machinist — Copper River Census Area

Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machinist in Copper River Census Area, Alaska. The role involves read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Rotating shifts.
