Lifting rigger — Ezinihitte

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Ezinihitte, Imo State. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces On the job you will handle: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area Meals and transport allowance provided.
