We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Curry County, Oregon. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Day-to-day duties: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
