Immediate opening: we are hiring a waiter in Piatt County, Illinois. The job is in a coffee shop. What we are looking for: • Ability to carry loaded trays and stay on your feet for long shifts • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages The role involves: • Clear and reset tables between covers • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Upsell starters, desserts and beverages • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place • Carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table Full-time with occasional weekends.
