Cnc lathe operator — Wokingham

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Wokingham, England. Your main tasks: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Part-time with flexible hours.
