Commis chef — Cuming County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a commis chef in Cuming County, Nebraska. The job is at a roadside dhaba. On a typical shift you will check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift. You should have: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
