Pressman — Bath County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pressman in Bath County, Virginia. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings The role involves hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off.
