Captain waiter — DeWitt County

Join our team: we are hiring a captain waiter in DeWitt County, Illinois. Day to day you will clear and reset tables between covers; raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments; take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad; carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table; punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket); check back during the meal and handle special requests. What we are looking for: • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner • Smart, well-groomed appearance and a clean uniform Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
