Join our team: we are hiring a butcher in Cedar County, Iowa. You will work in a meat processing plant. What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Day-to-day duties: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders Part-time with flexible hours. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
