Mining dozer operator — Berkeley County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Berkeley County, West Virginia. You will work at a land-clearing site. Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) The role involves: • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals Rotating shifts.
