Join our team: we are hiring an excavator operator in Aroostook County, Maine. The job is on a housing development site. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Day-to-day duties: • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
