Elevator service technician — Katcha

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Katcha, Niger State. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. Day-to-day duties: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Six days a week, one day off.
