Lathe programmer-operator • Lee County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Lee County, Texas. You will be based at a busy machine shop. You will set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
