UPVC welding machine operator wanted in Devon

Join our team: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Devon, England. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop The role involves insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer £3,000 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
