Lathe operator • Apapa, Lagos State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe operator in Apapa, Lagos State. You will work on a production line. The role involves: • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature You should have: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
