Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Dhubri, Assam. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Day to day you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
