Your main tasks: • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches You should bring good attention to detail and steady hands; comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges; ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage.
