Now hiring: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Wayne County, Georgia. The job is in a hotel or restaurant butchery. On the job you will handle: • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Rotating shifts.
