Punch press operator — Anglesey

Vacancy available: we are hiring a punch press operator in Anglesey, Wales. You will be based at an auto components factory. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses The role involves: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Record output and downtime on the production sheet We offer £2,450 per month plus benefits.
