Rigging foreman wanted in Markurdi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Markurdi, Benue State. The job is at a power plant. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Day to day you will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use.
