Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Addison County, Vermont. You will work in a toolroom. The role involves: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
