Sheet metal press operator — Franklin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Franklin County, Massachusetts. Your main tasks: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Performance bonus on top of base pay.
