Immediate opening: we are hiring a bench joiner in Wayne County, Iowa. The role involves check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain. What we are looking for: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
