We are recruiting: wood machinist (Georgia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a wood machinist in Stephens County, Georgia. You will be based on a busy construction site. You should have: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Day to day you will apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
