Urgent requirement: groundsman (California)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundsman in Sutter County, California. You will be based in a botanical garden. The role involves sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads. You should have: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors 3+ years on the tools preferred.
