Fusing press operator — King County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in King County, Washington. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day to day you will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; give each garment a final press before packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron.
