Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Tamenglong, Manipur. You will work on a residential tower site. Day to day you will read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. Ideally you have confident working at height on scaffold and decking; able to read formwork and structural drawings. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
