Counter butcher — Bracken County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a counter butcher in Bracken County, Kentucky. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Day to day you will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; season and marinate meat on request; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. You should have: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off.
