Vacuum press operator — Jackson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Jackson County, Florida. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets On a typical shift you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
