Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Smith County, Texas. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
