Landscape gardener • Marion County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Marion County, Illinois. You will be based in a public park. You will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds. You should have: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
